I cannot be lost, Simply by using a different map. I walked away, not because I cant handle a fight. You hate who I act to be for your show. You hate you I am on my own backstage. Id rather have spit on my illusion Because of the pride my soul possess. So like an animal its locked away. Never getting a chance to change for someone. Although the flame in me still flickers. The world showers me in predictable water. One day the gates might will rust shut. I'll be left, shaking hands with the devil.

I'll be there for the crack of the bottle. I wait while you kill your pain with the poison. I'll be behind you, when everyone walks away. I'm always there, in the darkness. Unseen, Unimportant until the light fades. I become their leader back to the sunlight. Only to be hidden in the darkness again. Never seeing the light myself. But waiting for a leader.

Grief is a collage of everything you once felt. It's the little memories being evoked. It's trying to forget things to lessen the blow. Grief is wanting just one more moment. It's pain mauling the inside of your heart. It's the regret of what you didn't express. Grief is what makes you stick in the past. Its realizing your very own mortality. Its the empty space, that stays reserved.
